MAJOR POLICY REPORT:
Analysis of Current Status - MH in Schools

Responses received from the Policy Leadership Cadre for Mental Health in Schools indicated that our Center should help provide a context for the findings of the recently released SAMHSA report: School Mental Health Services in the United States, 2002�2003*. Therefore, we have drafted a policy and program analysis of the status of MH in the schools.

That report is entitled:

    "The Current Status of Mental Health in Schools: A Policy and Practice Analysis"

and is available for downloading in pdf format in five sections:

Now is a critical time for enhancing attention to policy and practice for mental health in schools. It is our hope this report will help enhance interest and action. Our Center's report is intended to provide (a) a context and (b) a policy and program analysis of the status of MH in the schools.
