Abstract: This report examines three site visits conducted by a research team. Each site visit includes six focus groups to learn from students, families, general and special educators, administrators and school board members, and community agency representative over the course of each two-day site visit. Information gathered included data on schools in three communities where parents, administrators, and students were working together to make the schools safe and effective environments for all their students.
