Band-Aides and Blackboards is a site designed to sensitize children to the experience of growing up with a medical problem.

The Children's Centre, Trinity College Dublin serves as a multi-disciplinary university based centre, in the service of Irish children, particularly those who are disadvantaged, by contributing to higher standards in professional practice, scholarship and policy information.

The Children, Youth and Family Consortium's Electronic Clearinghouse (CEC) is an electronic bridge to information and resources on health, education and well-being of children, youth and families.

Frontier: Mental Health Services Resource Network provides the collection, analysis, and synthesis of knowledge regarding needs for and delivery of mental health services in "frontier" rural U.S. counties. Offers technical assistance to rural agencies and advocates on mental health/substance abuse.

Harvard Family Research Project examines and encourages policies and programs that empower families and communities to help children reach their potential. They are currently working on a study of states' efforts to develop results-based accountability systems for children and families.

The Human Development and Family Science Extension at Ohio State University provides support and resources for family life educators and others who conduct education and prevention programs for children, youth and families.

Institute for the Study of Students at Risk, College of Education, University of Maine, serves as a center for research and policy analysis on broad-based issues and concerns involving children, youth, and their families at risk.

International Journal: Continuous Improvement Monitor (CIM) from the Center for Applied Research in Education, University of Texas Pan American. It is a peer reviewed international journal on Quality Systems for Education. The journal is available by Listserv, via the World Wide Web and by subscription in its hardbound edition.

The Los Angeles Unified School District Internet service: LAUSDnet is for our teachers, students, our District people to access information electronically and exchange ideas with educators from all over the world. LAUSD is in the midst of restructuring how we educate our students.

The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools is supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and administered by the George Washington University. The center helps create State and Local Partnerships to establish School Based Health Centers.

WestEd (Far West Regional Laboratory) is a non-profit research, development and service agency dedicated to improving education and other opportunities for children, youth and adults.
